Why it is legendary
THE FIRST
REAL QUESTION.
The Fan Dance—known in Selection as Exercise High Walk—has been used for more than sixty years as an early measure of whether a candidate has the physical and mental capacity to continue.
Its simplicity is the point: carry what you need, move fast across unforgiving ground and make sound decisions while fatigue strips everything else away.
It is a Tactical Advance to Battle, not an obstacle race. Load, distance, terrain, pace and self-sufficiency are the test. Those fundamentals are understood far beyond Britain, which is why the Fan Dance carries such weight throughout the international Special Forces community.

THE S.F.
EXPERIENCE.
“For me, there is only one company to do the SAS Fan Dance with: The Special Forces Experience. They are the real deal.”
The organisation is run and staffed by former 22 SAS and other UK Special Forces personnel. That lived experience is what gives the day its standards, atmosphere and authenticity.

I AM
FFFHEALTH.
FFFHealth is personal. Felix built the brand around a simple idea: the plan has to be lived, tested and evolved in the real world. Three Fan Dance victories are that philosophy repeated under load—prepare with purpose, perform under pressure, return better.
The three-year record
ONE MOUNTAIN.
THREE VICTORIES.
Different weather. Different field. The same mountain, the same loadbearing discipline and the same result.
